Currency conversion

Here’s a link to an online currency converter: http://www.oanda.com/currency/converter.  Meanwhile, to get a rough idea of what these amounts represent, on 29 March 2010, 1,000 Vatu were worth:

AU$10.85, so 4,000 = $43, 8,000 = $87, and 10,000 = $108

NZ$13.95, so 4,000 = $56, 8,000 = $112, and 10,000 = $140

€7.3, so 4,000 = €29, 8,000 = €58, and 10,000 = €78

£6.6, so 4,000 = £26, 8,000 = £53, and 10,000 = £66

US$9.80, so 4,000 = $39, 8,000 = $79, and 10,000 = $98

Getting to the bungalows

Transport from the airport to the hotel — you will be met by Tom and/or Margaret in a vehicle — at the beginning of your visit and back to the airport at the end costs 1,000 vatu in total.
